WHAT IS YOUR DESIGN STYLE?
So my style is kind of boho, but I don't really design what I like. I'm here to listen to the customer, and I'm very fluctuating when it comes to design. I like to make their space for them, so I try to keep my preferences out of it.
HOW DO YOU WORK WITH CUSTOMER INSPIRATION?
I love the idea of outside inspiration, but sometimes with Pinterest you get AI photos. It's my job to show customers what they can and can't do with their kitchen.
WHAT TRENDS ARE YOU SEEING RIGHT NOW?
The design trends I'm seeing right now are natural tones. The sages with the wood tones. The one that I want to see go out is gray. I think gray is bland, and I think it's bad for your soul.
WHAT'S YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR A NEW DESIGNER?
Every product has a project that it's good for. You want to know what your customer's project is, and what product is best for that project.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE HDC DOOR STYLE & FINISH?
I like the Washington Verdant Green. I'm a big fan of the sage color. All my customers are. They like to use it with the natural wood tones with a two tone kitchen. So definitely the Verdant Green.
