What Is All-Weatherboard?
It’s high performance MDF panel product that demonstrates outstanding durability and dimensional stability in the most extreme and challenging environments. It is suitable for both exterior as well as interior, wet and high moisture applications. The product uses proprietary acetylated wood technology and a modified MDF manufacturing process to create a wood panel product with outstanding durability and stability.
What is HDPE?
HDPE, or High-Density Polyethylene, is a resilient plastic used for many outdoor
products due to its high resistance to impacts, moisture, and chemicals, making
it ideal for harsh outdoor environments. HDPE is also known as marine board and
used in the boating industry.
Will the hardware on the cabinets rust?
Our cabinet hardware is made of 316 grade stainless steel, superior to the standard 304 stainless used in many outdoor applications.
Can these cabinets withstand extreme temperatures?
Yes, the cabinets are designed to handle surface temperatures up to 265° F.
Will the grill’s heat impact cabinets?
Your grill includes a protective heat liner, which both supports the grill and prevents heat transfer to the cabinets.
Are Weatherstrong cabinets UV resistant?
Yes, Weatherstrong cabinets are designed to be UV resistant. HDPE incorporates UV stabilizers to prevent fading and degradation from prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Do the cabinets need to be anchored?
Weatherstrong islands offer the flexibility to be either freestanding or securely anchored to the ground or other structures.
